Regulatory supervision - commitments under monitoring

What the update establishes

The ICO reports changes or commitments from ten foundation-model developers. These concern transparency, rights mechanisms and safeguard assessments. It says it is monitoring delivery; a commitment is not evidence that every improvement is complete. [1]

Agent oversight is expanding

The regulator also describes enquiries into reported agent testing and deployment. These are ongoing enquiries, not final findings of a breach by every organisation named. The announcement is not a blanket approval of foundation-model products. [1]

ADM perspective

Ask a supplier which specific controls changed, when they reached the deployed service and what evidence is available. A regulator engaging with a company is different from certifying its whole product. Procurement should preserve that distinction when recording assurances.
